PHP 4.4.5 has been released by the PHP Group a few days ago and has been published on Dotdeb... But this release had a severe bug with cURL and with sessions when resgister_globals is On.

I fixed these problems quickly with the second publication of PHP 4.4.5 on Dotdeb.

Stefan Esser published an advisory concerning the Dotdeb's PHP packages :

<http://www.hardened-php.net/advisory_142006.139.html>

The problem comes from the mail-header patch.

You have to update your PHP4 packages to >=4.4.4-0.dotdeb.3 and your PHP5 packages to >=5.2.0-0.dotdeb.3 to fix this severe security hole.
